Family Fun on the Fourth

I hope that everyone had a great 4th of July {For all my American friends} mine was great fun with my family. So today I am dragging a little bit and have my superhero grandson with me today so I am a little late getting on here today.

Since my brain is tired today I think I will share with you photos of our Independence Day celebration at our house.

Here was my table centerpiece. I had a cute ant marching across my picnic blanket! I got the ant at Hobby Lobby and the cute picnic blanket table-cloth, flags, from the dollar bin at Target! The straws were also on clearance at Target.

I set up the food with a few cute patriotic ideas. This was the set up for s’mores later that night. I got the star marshmallows from Target and added sparklers and flags to a flag tin and my daughter made the Stars and Stripes Cupcakes that were so yummy!

As a child I loved playing on the slip-n-slide and I just could not resist getting one for my superhero grandson to play on but his father {my big baby boy} decided he was having too much fun with it too we got lots of funny videos to vine! {follow me at shersey}

We did try out a Pinterest tip for our sparklers and I have to say that it did work! We cut an “X” in bottom of solo cup and inserted the sparkler {unlit of course} and had them hold the sparkler end inside the solo cup, then we lit the sparkler and they were able to have fun without fear of burning their hands or have the sparks hit their arm. Of course you still need to watch them carefully during this! {Isn’t that the cutest shirt her mom made her. The blue stars are little bows! Love it!}

One last picture I have to share with you. I found this wonderful app Photofunia and I am in love! I created this picture with it! You take a picture you want and place it in different places like New York, Broadway, and even winning as a beauty Queen {I think I need to do that one for me lol}

I hope you enjoyed your holiday, I know we did!

Until next time,

Enjoy your day, your family, and your home! ❤
