If you have been following my blog for any time now you know I am a bargain shopper. Anywhere I can save some money I am all about it, but at the same time I want quality! One of the happiest days for this blogger was when Kirkland’s opened up in my home town several months ago! {No more driving out-of-town to get some great stuff!} I have to be honest with you, the moment I saw the sign go up in our local shopping center I was jumping for joy in my car {even had to stop and do a Facebook post about it lol} and on the day they did their soft open I was there, on the day they did their grand opening I was there! As a matter of fact when my son was getting married last week he and his bride to be went into Kirkland’s to buy some items for their wedding. Upon entering the store for the first time my son said, “This place looks and smells like my mom’s house!” Ok you get it I love Kirkland’s so when I received an email from them this past week asking me if I would be willing to blog about a “Look for less” I was ecstatic! I already know the great quality Kirkland’s has and the best prices! As a bonus I already shop with them for the same look as Pottery Barn and West Elm but for less money, so for me this was a treat!
I started thinking which post I would like to bring to you. Should I do a Money Monday post about the savings you certainly get by shopping at Kirkland’s or do I add them as my WoW Wednesday feature? WoW Wednesday here on my blog is dedicated to someone who WoWs me by a project they do. I usually find someone who has made over a room or item and present it to you. So I started thinking, I want to make over my home office but I really do not want to spend a lot of money. I need some great quality pieces which look like the items I could buy at higher priced stores. Well Kirkland’s certainly gets a WoW because I was able to find some really great pieces without the higher price tag and that deserves a WoW Wednesday nod from me!
Here are just two reasons I am featuring Kirkland’s as my WoW Wednesday :
First, I already stated the reason I shop at Kirkland’s is because they give me the same look as Pottery Barn or West Elm but for less! When I shop I not only go into the store but I look online at the store’s website to see what is new and what is on sale. This allows me to see items located in the store first in order for me to get an idea of what I am looking for. Then I head into the store for my bargains! Here are a few examples of the great looks for less I was able to find for my home office redo:

Now aren’t these lamps beauties! I think this style lamp would be perfect for my home office! But see the look for less you can get at Kirkland’s:
Kirkland’s Antique Washed Table Lamp is only $49.99 {It’s actually on sale right now for $42.49} while Pottery Barn Piedmont Table Lamp Base is $180.00 {It’s on sale right now for $144.00 but no lamp shade comes with this lamp from Pottery Barn so you have to add the price of a lamp shade too!} That price difference is definitely a WoW!
I have also been on the hunt for a new table, but it needs to be the perfect size to fit into my office. When I found this Lynne Brown Nightstand at Kirkland’s it is the perfect look and size for what I need! Check out this look for less:

Here is the same look from Pottery Barn {Cortona Bedside Table} but WoW what a difference in price! Same look for a lot less!

The second way I can show you how to save money at Kirkland’s is their free coupon app called Spin to Win for iPhone and Android. Every time you are at the checkout in the store you just open your Spin to Win app and spin it to see how much you will save on your purchases that day; even on items which are on sale or clearance you get to take an additional amount off! Here’s how it works:
Download and use the Spin to Win app to get a new coupon every day right on your phone! You never know which coupon you’ll get, but every spin wins!
• You can save as much as 15% off your entire purchase!
• No printing necessary or forgetting your coupon at home; just show the coupon on your phone to the cashier at the checkout!
• Coupons are good at any Kirkland’s location for the whole day!
Another bonus of the app {as if saving money wasn’t bonus enough} you can get inspiration from Kirkland’s design tips while you shop! You can even access the Design Tips and other content even if you don’t spin the coupon wheel!
What a great way to get an awesome look for less! Go ahead check them out for yourself I have found many items at Kirkland’s for a lot less and still have the same great look as the higher priced stores!
What about you have you found some great looks for less at Kirkland’s? I would love to hear about it, just leave me a comment below! Also make sure you like Kirkland’s Facebook page, this week they had a give-a-way for a lamp, so don’t miss out!

Kirkland’s because you give us great quality and an awesome look for less I am featuring you as my WoW Wednesday of the week! {And even though it is not Monday I am still giving you a thumbs up for savings we get with your already great prices PLUS the Spin To Win App as my second Money Monday nod this week!}
Until next time,
Enjoy your day, your family, and your home! ❤
XXXOOO,
Disclaimer: Even though I was contacted by Kirkland’s to see if I was interested in doing a Look for Less post I agreed and this content {and opinions} are my own. I was not paid for this post. {I like to be open as to whether I am paid for posting about a product see my Disclosure for further info}
We have a Kirkland’s just a few miles away, and I’ve never been there! But I’m going now! Can’t wait! 🙂

Kirklands has some awesome stuff!! There isn’t one close to me, which I guess is a blessing (for my wallet) and a curse 😉 My sister and I recently decorated a guestroom for a friend and the blue ikat chairs in the reading nook are from Kirklands, such a great find!

Elizabeth,
I totally understand how you feel. Before one opened in my town I had to drive if I wanted to shop at one! So like I said I am a happy camper now that they are here! Funny thing is my son’s new bride just text me to tell me he loves the store now and they were just in there getting some great things for their new home lol!
Thanks for stopping by!

Love you post Sandra, so full of great info! I love the look of Pottery Barn, but it is way overpriced. I am not sure we have a Kirkland’s up here in the frozen north, but I love that nightstand! It is beautiful! Your tips are really helpful, thank you 🙂

Kirkland is truly a gem..That’s why I opened up my own home decor store online. I don’t sell furniture just yet because I don’t have a warehouse that huge to house them but I do sell home decor accessories.

I love PB style, but it’s crazy expensive. I think there may be a Kirkland’s where my parents live…I’ll have to check it out.

I like the lamp from Kirkland’s more than the one from PB! I’ve found some great deals at Kirkland’s – we got a HUGE “painting” for our dining room, marked WAAY down & then used a coupon, too – ended up paying less than $50 for it! SCORE!! Thanks for sharing!

I’ve only been to a Kirkland’s once in my life and I said to my mom, “When Paul and I join household, I’m decorating our entire house from here.” I went home with so much awesome stuff, enough to decorate an entire wall, and spent less than $100.

I discovered Kirklands last year around Christmas time. In March of this year we had a girls day out for shopping and I introduced Kirklands to them. My mother was in awe as to the quality and pricing. I think were were there for over an hour. Lots of great finds.
